Energy-Efficient Windows
Energy-efficient vinyl and Fibrex windows, installed with care for homes in Port Orchard and nearby communities.
Are your windows still doing their job?
Original aluminum or wood windows are still common. They’re cold to the touch in winter, sweat on the inside, and let in more road noise than you’d expect.
Builders usually install basic vinyl windows. After 15 to 25 years we often see fogging between the panes (a failed seal), sashes that stick or won’t lock tight, and drafty sliders. These windows usually aren’t “broken,” but they’ve stopped doing their job.
Well-fitted new windows can make a house quieter and more comfortable. Call us and we will walk through your options with you.
Efficient frames: vinyl and Fibrex
Vinyl windows are an affordable, energy-efficient solution that enhances comfort, boosts curb appeal, and provides excellent insulation. We install vinyl windows from trusted manufacturers like Milgard, Coeur d’Alene, and Lindsay. See our vinyl windows page.
Fibrex, an innovative composite material developed by Andersen, combines the strength and durability of wood with the low-maintenance benefits of vinyl. See our Fibrex windows page.
We source from Coeur d’Alene Window Co., Milgard, Andersen and Lindsay, so there is a range of styles to look at.

Efficient glass
At your free estimate, we’ll compare options side by side: frame materials, styles, colors, and glass. Then we’ll match the window to your home and your budget, not to whatever a salesperson is paid to push.
New windows keep the inner glass warmer, which reduces condensation a lot. Heavy moisture usually also means the house needs better ventilation. We’ll be honest about which it is.
Fog or moisture between the panes usually means the seal on the glass has failed. In many cases the glass can be replaced and the frame stays. See our glass replacement page.
Check for utility rebates
Which rebate you can get depends on how you heat your home. If Puget Sound Energy or Peninsula Light Company provides your main heat, ask them about current window incentives before you order. Some programs have their own requirements for contractors and windows.
Utility rules change, so we’ll check the current requirements with you at the estimate. Your invoice will list the sizes and U-factors the utilities ask for.
