Local Window Replacement in Bremerton, WA

Window replacement for any Bremerton home

HOP Windows is a family-owned window and door replacement company based just across Sinclair Inlet in Port Orchard, and we serve homeowners throughout Bremerton. Whether your house was built last decade or last century, we’ll help you pick the right windows and install them with our own crew.

Bremerton has a wide mix of homes. From Manette and West Bremerton to newer neighborhoods around town, we see everything from original wood double-hungs and aluminum sliders to builder-grade vinyl windows with fogged or failed seals. Whatever you have now, we’ll give you an honest, no-pressure quote on any major brand.

What we look for in an older Bremerton house

    • Single-pane glass and loose sashes. These are the biggest source of drafts and cold rooms. Rattling sashes also let in noise from busy streets.
    • Rot in sills and trim. Decades of Western Washington rain find every gap. We check sills and trim at the estimate so there are no surprises on install day, and we’ll tell you up front if we see repair work that needs to happen first.
    • Keeping the character. New doesn’t have to look out of place. Between-the-glass grid patterns, exterior colors, and the right window style go a long way. Because we can order from every major manufacturer, we can find a look that suits a craftsman, a mid-century rambler, or a 1920s bungalow.

    Own a rental in Bremerton?

Fewer than half of Bremerton homes are owner-occupied, and we’re happy to work with landlords. If you own a rental:

    • We can quote the whole building now and schedule the work in phases.
    • We’ll coordinate access with your tenants, so you don’t have to be there.
    • Fixing drafty, sweating single-pane windows cuts down on tenant complaints about mold, cold rooms, and high heat bills.
    • Heads up: PSE’s window rebates are for site-built single-family homes. Buildings with five or more units don’t qualify, and warranty terms can differ for rentals and multi-family buildings. We’ll tell you exactly what applies to your property.

    Rebates for Bremerton homes

Bremerton gets its electricity from Puget Sound Energy. Through December 31, 2026, PSE pays rebates when the home’s main heat is PSE electricity or gas and you replace wood- or metal-framed windows:

    • $100 per window for new windows rated U-0.22 or lower (single- or double-pane originals).
    • $50 per window for new windows rated U-0.23 to 0.30 (single-pane originals only).
    • $200 per window for income-qualified households through Efficiency Boost.

In gas-heated homes, Cascade Natural Gas currently pays $25 per square foot for replacing single-pane windows with windows rated U-0.22 or lower. With Bremerton’s older, single-pane-heavy housing, this is one of the places these rebates matter most.

We’ll check the current rules with you. Your invoice will list the sizes and U-factors each utility requires.

Every window brand, one local crew

We aren’t tied to one manufacturer. HOP Windows has accounts with every major window manufacturer, so we can match the window to the building instead of forcing one product line on every house.

Brands we can get for you include Andersen, Coeur d’Alene, Lindsay, Marvin, Milgard, Pella, Ply Gem, Simonton, and more.

At your free estimate, we’ll compare options side by side. That might be a durable, low-maintenance window for a rental, or something with more character for an owner-occupied older home. We’ll help you weigh looks, energy performance, and budget.

Because we can order from all of them, we can get you the best pricing on whichever brand you choose. Already have a brand in mind? Tell us and we’ll quote it.

    How it works

    1. Free estimate at your home. We measure every opening, check frames and sills, and give you a written quote with no pressure to sign.
    2. Custom order. Your windows are custom-made to fit your openings, so we’ll give you a delivery estimate with your quote.
    3. Install. We protect the floors, remove the old windows, install and seal the new ones, and clean up. The old windows leave with us.
    4. Final walk-through. We check every window with you and hand over your warranty and rebate paperwork.

    Warranty

Every window we install is backed by a transferable lifetime warranty. If you sell, the coverage goes with the home to the next owner.

You’ll get the exact written warranty for your windows before you sign.

    Bremerton window replacement FAQ

My house is from the 1920s. Can you match the old look?
Often, yes. Between-the-glass grids, exterior colors, and the right window style go a long way. Bring us photos of the look you like and we’ll show you what’s possible.

Do you work on rentals and duplexes?
Yes. We can phase the work and coordinate with tenants. Just know that rebate and warranty rules can differ for rentals and multi-unit buildings, and we’ll spell that out in your quote.

My windows fog up inside every winter. Will new ones fix it?
New windows keep the inner glass warmer, which reduces condensation a lot. Heavy moisture usually also means the house needs better ventilation. We’ll be honest about which it is.

Do I have to be home on install day?
For owner-occupied homes, we ask that someone be there at the start and for the final walk-through. For rentals, we can work with your tenants or property manager.

We’re based in Port Orchard, where we also do window replacement.
